Friday Tea: two podcasts
and some local news
The funny thing about podcasts is that you do an interview and then six months pass and you’ve forgotten everything you said. Listening to recordings of myself from pre-November 2024 feels strange.
Last week two of my podcast interviews went live. The first one was with Branon Dempsey. Branon and I talk about finding your voice after surviving abuse (with a side discussion about parenting as a trauma victim).
The second was my interview with Sons of Patriarchy. Peter and I talk about how Doug Wilson’s poison finds its way to unlikely places like an Independent Charismatic (NAR) church in rural New York.
In other news, the FBI arrested a Milwaukee judge this morning for refusing to cooperate with their reign of terror. In a time where Trump and his allies want to silence all opposition, I’m grateful for white women like Judge Dugan for leveraging their power and privilege to protect vulnerable people from harm.

Amen. I heard your interview on Sons of Patriarchy and it was great. Well done!
